We all know a picture is worth a thousand words. And it’s also worth a lot when it comes to an online dating profile. I won’t even answer a guy who has no photo online.
If you are at all like me, it can be agonizing trying to decide which photo accurately sums up all of the wonderful things you have to offer and is flattering. Do you want to look cute, flirty, fun, outdoorsy?
For both men and women there are a few basic things to remember when choosing your profile image. While some of these may seem obvious, spend a few minutes on any dating site, and you will see how common the don’ts really are.

As if dating isn’t stressful enough, we have even more to worry about then our hearts getting stolen. Have you checked your bank balance recently? As technology grows by leaps and bounds, so do the various ways con-artists seek to separate us from our money.

I'm so impressed with the information Mr. Anonymous Male is sharing with us from Eavesdropping in the Boys Club! His most recent post, 15 Things Women Shouldn't Do On the First Date, is priceless for those of us that sometimes come away feeling clueless. I highly suggest you add his blog to your feed reader so you can keep up with all his great insider info. That is, of course, after you add Successful Online Dating to your feed reader - just click the big red button on the upper left of the blog.

MSNBC.com and iVillage.com “Lust, Love & Loyalty Survey” asked more then 70,000 adults questions about love and infidelity in a 30 question poll. Among other facts, they found that the number one reason men cheat is because they are dissatisfied with their relationship, while women most commonly cheat because they feel emotionally deprived.
I am a very lucky gal. I have never cheated on a guy (that’s just me, not luck) and I have never been cheated on. However, I have many friends (male and female) who are not so lucky. It makes me wonder, what are they doing differently than I am? While I may not have a magical cheating prevention spell, I think there are some things I do in relationships that others don’t.
