10 Mistakes Women Make - #2

Kay on Nov 3rd 2008 07:15 am

mistake #2

Continuing our serious on mistakes women make with men and how you can avoid them - from Christian Carter, author of Catch Him and Keep Him.

Assuming You “Get” Men & Their Psychology

Men are different from women.

You need to accept this fact, and deal with it.

When a woman sees a man, she can very quickly pick apart certain things about his style, body language, status and character that will tell her all kinds of things about him.

Lots of women don't even consciously see that they do this because the process is so obvious and simple for them.

Another Opinion of Chemistry.com

Kay on Oct 3rd 2008 07:49 am

image-thumb Another Opinion of Chemistry.com Mandi and I appreciate comments and emails from readers. We sincerely try to provide help and guidance in the online dating arena, and when someone spends the time to write a well-written email like this that has a strong opinion of a site, we feel it's in your best interests to print it.

We received this email from Stan, and decided to print it in its entirety to warn you of his opinion and experiences with Chemistry.com. I have to admit that I've been having some of the same issues since I joined; in fact, it's been several weeks and I haven't even had email correspondence from anyone on the site.

What Were They Thinking?

Mandi on Sep 25th 2008 07:34 am

image17 What Were They Thinking? So, for fun, I decided to go through some profiles and see what common problems or weird things I could find. Now, I had intended to go through 100 guys dating site profiles, but I only made it to 50 and my list was getting long.

First, the search: I used my personal account and my actual search criteria (single, straight men in my geographic area, between the ages of 28-36), and I went directly through the results, skipping no one, and reading every profile. See how much I love you, our readers…

Chemistry.com Chapter 1

Kay on Sep 22nd 2008 01:03 pm

image15 Chemistry.com Chapter 1I joined Chemistry.com through their buy one get three offer:

Three months for the price of one on Chemistry.com! You save more than 50%! Joining Chemistry.com

Here's how it's going so far…

An Evenly Sliced Personality

What really sucks about my personality test on Chemistry.com is that there are 4 quadrants, and I am very close to 25% on each of them. Which means they can match me up with absolutely anybody and it's supposed to be a "great match."

Joining Chemistry.com

Kay on Sep 14th 2008 09:42 am

You can't get this directly from their site, but Chemistry.com has the following offer:

Three months for the price of one on Chemistry.com! You save more than 50%! Joining Chemistry.com

Since that's a really good deal, I updated my profile yesterday, and they have since come up with 5 matches and 2 other guys that are interested in me. So I'm going to join today and see what happens. Sigh.

How Chemistry.com Works

Chemistry.com is not as wide open as Match.com, although they are affiliated. On Chemistry.com you take a personality test, and they match you with others. No trolling through profiles or having hundreds of creepy guys perusing yours.

Romantic Men - Dangerous to Your Heart

Kay on Sep 1st 2008 09:34 am

how do you mend a broken heart A few months ago I wrote Yahoo! for Yahoo about a guy I had met in their personals. Since then I haven't written an update, even though the relationship seemed to be going swimmingly. I think my gut was telling me that if it seems too good to be true, hellooo Kay, it probably is.

Well, it's over, and I'm hurting pretty bad. I can tell you this for sure: never break up with a guy and have your elderly dog put to sleep in the same week. Either trauma is hard enough to cope with on its own; the double whammy is devastating.
