I think that there are a lot of very beautiful women who are lonely because men are just too nervous around them. They look at a woman like that and think, "She's so beautiful. She must be way out of my league." But in reality she's not. She probably would have really appreciated the attention and any conversation that ensued. Quite often the only guy who will approach someone like that is super-confident, cocky, and a womaniser. Women get burned by guys like this and are more wary about responding to any male advances.
